This site is intended as a practical, professional resource for screenwriters, working or emerging...
By “emerging” I mean those who are starting out - they have an idea for a movie but are unsure how to proceed; they have a story, published or not, that they feel will make a good film; they have a script, or partial script, that’s withering fast and they need insight on how to revive it.
Of course, working screenwriters can often face similar forms of writer’s block. I know. I’ve been through all of those scenarios, so I’m well aware of the potential frustrations, stuck-feelings or whatever you want to call those ego-crushing moments when you just feel like giving up...
That’s why I started StoryBuilder.
Whether you have the smallest seed of an idea or 100+ pages of script, I encourage you to contact me for a complimentary evaluation of your project’s potential.
I’m here to assist you - not to critique your script as a finished product, not to re-imagine it for you, and definitely not, in any way, to co-write it. You are the writer. You are the person with the creative urge to tell your particular story in your own unique way. What I can do is help you achieve that goal.
Think “coach”, think “mentor”, think of me as that helpful person you approach when you’ve lost sight of your destination. I’ll give you straightforward, sensible directions; I’ll point out the most effective way for you to get where you want to go…
